The Fairy Queen:
An opera/play/ballet. Story by William Shakespear (A Midsummer Nights Dream), music by Henry Purcell (1692), set and costume design by Paul Brown (love him!). A production complete with black winged dancers, someone hung upside down in a spider's web, giant stack of hay, and a suspended golden horse.
And L'Etoile:
Music of Emmanuel Chabrier. Complete with giant blow-up yellow chair (that was deflated on stage), Magritte-esque mimes, and Victorian princesses on razor scooters.
